Must and Have To

1. ) To express an obligation that comes from a regulation or a rule, must is mainly used in formal and written English.

2.) Must is common when expressing an obligation that comes from the speaker´s personal feeling, wish or opinion.

3.) To express a prohibition, the speakers should use mustn´t.

4.) To express a strong recommendation, the speaker can use must.

5.) You can use must to express a logical deduction.
