Present perfect or past simple

Man benutzt das Present Perfect, um ein Geschehen auszudrücken, das in der Vergangenheit geschah. Der genaue Zeitpunkt ist nicht wichtig. Folglich sind die Signalwörter: ever, never, once, many times, several times, before, so far, already, yet etc.
 Das Simple Past dient dazu, eine Handlung auszudrücken, die in der Vergangenheit abgeschlossen (einmalig oder wiederholt) wurde. In diesem Zusammenhang sind die Signalwörter: yesterday, one year ago, last week, at that moment, that day etc. von Bedeutung.
